Founded on the premise that no one in our area should be alone or hungry on Christmas Day, the annual Westchester Community Christmas Day Dinner is an all-volunteer charitable event.

The 2012 Christmas Dinner was a huge success. Our tremendous group of volunteers provided a hot Christmas dinner, clothing, toys, entertainment and companionship to over 300 of our less-fortunate Westchester neigbors.

How You Can Help

This project requires hundreds of volunteers. Some roles are glamorous, some are down and dirty, but any contribution guarantees a sense of fulfillment and personal satisfaction from helping our less fortunate neighbors on Christmas Day. Volunteer signup for the 2013 Christmas Dinner will begin on Friday, November 1st. Please mark your calendar and return to this website on that date to register for available volunteer opportunities.

The Christmas Dinner relies on donations from Westchester residents and businesses. Food, clothing, toys, gifts, and tax-exempt monetary contributions are required to make each year’s Dinner a success. Click here to see how you can contribute these resources.
